Matthew Guidarelli

Matthew joined EQT in February 2025 as Head of Grants for the EQT Foundation. In this role, Matthew helps support the strategic direction and evolution of the Foundation, while building the funding strategy & programs to support scientific entrepreneurs in bringing breakthrough innovations to market, as well as bold ideas that aim to transform ecosystems, improve capital flows, and increase data availability for impact-driven entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining EQT, Matthew partnered with founders and executive teams across Europe and the US in their growth and transformation journeys through Folly Ventures, and was the General Manager, EMEA & APAC for Techstars where he led the region to its highest performance in the company’s 16-year history. Further back, Matthew was a member of the original leadership team that created and rapidly scaled the Harvard Innovation Labs - supporting and advising founders across all industries in building transformative teams and companies. He’s helped shape one of the first and leading impact affinity groups in the US, and had launched a healthcare venture supporting pediatric patients.
