What is the Breakthrough Science Grants program?
This is a way to quickly fund research projects without long delays, offering a process that is as scientist-friendly as possible.
Unlike traditional granting, which can take months to approve, we are speeding up funding so researchers and innovators can get the money they need as soon as possible.
We are currently seeking research proposals that can deliver impactful solutions to reduce methane emissions in areas like agriculture, industrial manufacturing, waste management, and others. Whether your project involves developing better agricultural practices, improving methane capture technologies, or reducing emissions from fossil fuel systems, we want to support your work.
EQT Foundation is committed to supporting scientists in the areas of Climate & Nature and Health & Wellbeing, who address global challenges within these fields. For this current grant program, the focus is on funding research with innovative solutions to reduce the world's methane emissions. Our grants range from €25,000 to €100,000.
The application form takes approx. 30 minutes to complete, and you will receive a decision within 21 days after the application deadline. If your project is approved, you will receive the funding as soon as your institution is able to accept it.
